We are participating in the Grand Teton Relay as a part of a 12 member team who will together cover 180 miiles over the course of 24 hours, running in the heat of the day and starlight of bear country!  And we're all doing it as SoleMates raising money for the Girls on the Run program. As team captain, I will chronical our race experience in this blog, but I did also start this blog as my personal testimony about why I'm doing this, some of the inspiration I've gotten from my fellow team mates along the way, and how you can participate.  If you're reading because you're supporting on our our team members, and haven't yet visited our team fundraising page, please do and select the racer you'd like to support.  Or if you're interested in supporting my personal fundraising effort, visit my fundraising page to find out how!

Phew... What an adventure!

Highlights from this amazing race with 12 amazing women (from the perspective of just one of the vehicles!): * Mahoney's sent us off with some grub and best wishes! * We arrived in Ashton "Where the Adventure Begins" according to their welcome sign... little did we know! * Ds'Vinci lasagna dinner in the twilight campside only getting us excited for what lays ahead * Two make a dash for a last minute tent and two for cots when one of the hotel rooms is so smoky staying back home in the smoke would've been healthier!
